I have been happily using ePSXe on XP for a while. I did a clean install of Windows 7 64-bit this morning and now ePSXe will not load. I have configured all my plugins in exactly the same way but it gives me the error message: No WGL Extensions! It then crashes. There's nothing wrong with my plugins and I have the latest version. I have tried adding it to the allow list for DEP as suggested in another post and that didn't make a difference. Any more ideas?
Video driver? I'm sorry, but I don't know what this stuff is. What's a video driver? Is it different than the video plug in? I think I have the same problem as this guy, I have windows 7 and epsxe 1.7.0. It just comes up with a black screen whenever I try to run an ISO. Also, the BIO does run, I don't know what that would mean though. October 1 1938 germany.
The ISO I'm running is FF VII, and I already put it in.bin format, so I don't think the problem is game compatibility. Everything I've read says that FF VII is compatible with pretty much any plug in or emulator. Any help would be appreciated, or direction to a thread that already addressed this issue that I missed. Click to expand.for those two lines (or if it says, say, Intel, nVidia, or ATi there's other possibilities beyond those three in some way instead), then you don't have this problem. Microsoft doesn't make PC video hardware, so if it says it's using a Microsoft provided driver, that means it's using the generic Windows one and your video drivers aren't installed (or corrupt and need reinstalled). In any case, I doubt this is your problem, since the 'Black screen when starting a game' seems more common.
Can you run other stuff (games, if you have/play any) without trouble? If so, you likely have a different problem.
Post your plug-in settings (there's a button within the plug-in configuration to copy the data) and your PC hardware might help too (not all of it, just CPU, RAM, Video, and/or OS though we know the latter). Ok, I got silent hill to work, but FF VII still won't work, just a black screen. Maybe I just got a bad download or something. Another brick in the wall song. Lyrics taken from http://www.lyricsmode.com/lyrics/p/pink_floyd/another_brick_in_the_wall.html. The rules reinforce the reality of today, and people do not agree with punishments induced by prejudices, and consternations. Society uses rules to build a predictable structure, a structure that can hold the weight of the ambitions of few, for the price of the dreams of everyone else. Mark Twain said it best: 'Don't let school get in the way of your education'. They are the individuals, we, the students, are the ones, breaking a wall of stern followers, and rule educators.
KEEP ANNOTATIONS ON!!!!!!!!!! Here's a clear and easy tutorial on how to install ePSXe which is a ps1 emulator for your pc. If you have any questions feel free to ask Emulator Zone: Bios File: VERY IMPORTANT UPDATE: ok so i figured this out apparently the newest version of ePSXe needs the ZLIB file you can get it here just click the thing that says download ZLIB here. Save it to your desktop unzip the file then copy all the stuff in the ZLIB folder and then paste it into your ePSXe folder it should run perfectly I never have had that problem but I guess some people have so I hope that helped. Biology concepts and connections sixth edition.
I have used several versions of ePSXe and have recently installed 1.7 on my machine. I have faced a few issues and have got some of the solutions by trial and error methods. I thought let me share them with you: When you download and unzip 1.7 version first thing that you should do is to check that if zlib1.dll is there. If it is not then search on google and you will find a link to download this dll (use your common sense while clicking before link).
How To Download Epsxe
When you try to configure the ePSXe it will crash giving a message. So just right click on the ePSXe executable and check for properties. Set the Compatibility to Windows98 and voila you will be able to configure the ePSXe application. When you try to run the application again you will encounter an error.
So again you have to set the compability level to WindowsXP. You have to do it every time you configure ePSXe or Run ePSXE. I have tested this on - Windows 7 Home Premium - Intel 965 Express board - Intel Core2Duo 1.8 GHz Processor - 4GB RAM - Petes DX7 Graphics driver - PEOPS Sound Driver - ISO Image Driver in built plugin - Standerd in build Controller plugin - SCPH7502 BIOS - Ghost In The Shell PSX game I have also noticed that version ePSXe 1.6 is superfast and is not easy to maintain sync while playing a game with it. EPSXE 1.7 is somewhat good but is a bit slow. Regards, An ePSXe Lover.

A PC controller, if owned, can be chosen as an input device from the 'Devices' drop-down menu. For keyboard controls, map PC keys to correspond with the PlayStation 1 controller. There are several PlayStation 1 controller buttons depicted in the section. On the right side of the buttons, there is a space where any key can be input. In this case, if the controller buttons 'up', 'left', 'down' and 'right' need to be set, the Up arrow key, Left arrow key, Down arrow key and Right arrow key on the keyboard are pressed respectively. Go ahead and set everything as desired.
